Public access
The name-based burial register, interactive map, and historical overview are accessible without an account or payment. The research materials concern deceased individuals and incorporate publicly available cemetery-register transcriptions. Transcriptions may contain errors; consult original sources for formal genealogical or legal use.
Information collected by this website
This static website has no login, advertising software, analytics, database submissions, or user-tracking cookies. Search queries operate in your browser using the site's bundled research data. The optional contribution-draft tool generates a text file on your own device; it does not transmit the entered text.
Google Fonts may be requested from Google's servers to display the site's editorial typography; standard hosting services may separately retain routine server access logs. Clicking a research source takes you to that independent website and its own policies.
Community contributions
Community submissions are not yet enabled. Before enabling submissions, the project will add a submission policy explaining review, consent, permissions, retention, removal requests, and handling of contact details. No private contributions should be displayed without permission.
Accuracy and affiliation
Jordan's Crossing is an independent public-history research project. It does not replace the official cemetery records, assert permission to speak for Lindenwood Cemetery, or claim affiliation with organizations named as potential partners. The Section 14 name-based map is a lot reference, not a survey of individual grave spaces.
Research updates
This edition reflects an October 2026 research edition. Any substantive correction should carry a description of the new evidence and an update date. See sources and research methodology.
